Let me start by saying that I love this clock. It has changed our family's life at shower time. However, it almost didn't happen, because we started with the suction cup mount. It fell during a shower (into the shower) and then got waterlogged during the course of the shower and stopped working. I took it apart and aired out all the parts and then reassembled it and it worked fine. Now it is mounted with screws and works beautifully.So, two lessons: (1) The suction cups will fail you. (2) It resists shower splashes, but it is not waterproof enough to sit on the floor of the tub during a shower. So avoid those two mistakes and it will serve your family well and cut back on the amount of yelling at your kids to hurry up and finish their shower!
