The directions included with the switch did not match my configuration. After a very frustrating conversation with Amazon’s off shore support team i was finally supplied a link to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer were extremely helpful and thourough, exchanging messages and photos back and forth until we got it right. The switch is working as advertised.So our house is super old and when we went to self install there’s was WAY more wired than anticipated. Nothing YouTube or the instructions had ever seen unfortunately. But we hired an electrician and it even took him longer than expected ? $300 later I can leave my house for vacation without worrying the pool will turn green or the bill will be super duper high from running the ENTIRE TIMEAs an electrician, this was an easy install. Single 120/277v can control one or two different circuits. 240v is for one circuit/device.The kit is generous and included jumper wires for the internal clock.With the right lighting, the LCD is easy to read. Timer PROG setup is straight forward. 24 HOUR clock - so some thinking is involved unless you are used to 24 hour time (i.e. military).Most of the digital timers used for auto on/off are pretty much the same - same setup parameters.Take a minute to get used to it. Make a mistake? Keep a DULL pencil around and press RESET. Holding it for more than 3-5 seconds resets everything. 1-3 seconds resets that program point (just erases it).MANUAL ON/OFF can be achieved by pressing the AUTO/ON/OFF a few times to either turn it on or off -- Remember the 'AUTO' on or 'AUTO' off shows when you want it to automatically turn on/off.easy to set and forget, also auto change for DST and battery back-upHas many different timers and works excellent. Well worth the money if you haven’t gotten it yet itThe timer function works beautifully for our sprinkler/irrigation system. The programming itself is not difficult, but you may need a magnifying glass; the screen is so tiny that it is difficult to see. Installation instructions are baffling to those of us who are not electricians. Fortunately, we have a generous neighbor who is a master electrician who wired it for us.I've only had this a couple months, so the jury is still out on how weatherproof it is. Programming was pretty straightforward, and it has worked reliably in that regard. The diagrams for wiring are garbage. The only way I figured it out was by contacting the seller. They provided a completely different wiring diagram from the one provided in the box, and that worked like a champ. Once you know how the wires are supposed to be terminated, then it's pretty easy to do.Item works great, instructions aren't too clear some electrical knowledge needed for installation
