I bought 2 of these.They was excellent at the beginning after installation everything worked for a few months perfect with Google assistant and all that.But now one of them hardly ever stays connected over wifi only the remote works.the other one the remote light button is broken so the only way to get the light on is to use Googleair movement is fine I kinda wish it moved more air I was hoping this would be a nice solution to a smart device and can that worked with most systems.We installed 3 of these under a shop patio about three weeks ago. All work well. There is a delay on action when using the remote. It’s a few seconds. One issue I’m having is re-pairing the third fan to a single remote. Because all our fans are on a single switch and turning the switch on activates pairing mode, when I try to pair a single fan with a single remote, all 3 fans pair to that remote. I have not called support yet for assistance. The noise level is nearly existent. So far, so good. I think $9.99 per device to allow Alexa integration is too high. I am not paying $30 so Alexa can control my 3 fans. None of my other smart devices require this.Two problems.1.) Receiver did not work correctly. After having the fan installed on a 18 ft. cathedral ceiling, the receiver would not connect because of incorrect password. I verified with technical support that I was using the correct password. Seems my receiver has defective firmware ( their term) and they will replace. Now I will need to pay for a second installation, which then will exceed the cost of the fan. I'm 75 and recovering from Covid, not going on 18 ft. ladder. 2.) Receiver did not fit into the Slope Ceiling Kit Pocket due to hitting the slope ceiling. Seems the mount cannot be rotated enough to be at the correct angle for insertion (contractor statement). Will take special mounting procedure.If your fan is lower and you don't mind installing twice, then go for it. So far the remote works OK, but cannot connect to smart home features or control from phone.If you fan is high up, better verify the receiver works before installation. Seems they know about the problem from the answers I received.Fan works OK so far … but I purchased due to the smart features … so I give it a 2Easy hook up good instructions. Very very quiet fan light is a little bit to blaring like old doctors office fluorescent blaring even on some of the lower settings.This fan is so quiet. After it was installed several months I couldn’t get it to come on. The light worked, but not the fan. I contacted the vendor and within 5 minutes it was up and running again. Operator error. Great customer service. I couldn’t rate ease of installation as I called a technician.I purchased two of these fans from Amazon last summer (2021) and paid for a professional installation. One of the two fans has stopped working in December (2021). I replaced the remote control batteries and verified proper power was going to the fan. The fan is completely unresponsive. The company's website support is nonexistence, because it directs you to call and set up an appointment with a specialist.Had our contractor install this fan. It came on one time and then never again. Is good looking and maybe we had bad luck but I returned it.Terrible product for outdoor use. Don’t get
