I ordered this fan for over my dining room table, hoping that the light would brighten that area of my townhome while the fan would create a nice breeze. The fan looks great and I got a ton of compliments on it. It's strange that the light turns off as you switch between brightness levels, but that's just a minor quirk. The blades were very quiet as they turned and produced good air movement. Perfect, right? Until the clicking started. Click click click -- like when you put something in the spokes of your bike as a kid. Maddening. Ordered a new fan, which delivered quickly in a box that was in perfect condition. Opened the box to find a broken fan -- not broken by the shipping company or the vendor, but by another customer who apparently tried to install the fan, failed, and then returned the dented and scratched fan with a smashed receiver to a vendor who didn't bother to open the box and check the item before shipping it to someone else. Luckily, Amazon is allowing me to return the broken one. Long story short -- it's a really nice fan but the installation instructions are more-or-less useless and you're taking your chances with the vendor. Ask yourself -- do you feel lucky?The video attached to setting up the fan to install was pretty easy until I was setting up the housing carriage for the fan. For some reason the housing carriage the fan sits in did not fit with my house junction box...I didn’t feel confident retrofitting it just to get it up so I returned it.I love this blue tooth retractable ceiling fan. It was easy to install. The fan rungs great. I wish the music played louder. It’s definitely a conversation piece.I love the design and operation of this fan. Sleek and modern. Only drawback: it's wired for only one switch, so if you have separate fan and light switches on the wall, you will lose some functionality. You will have to choose between using the light button on the remote control or on your wall switch, both are not possible.I’d give this more stars if the light hue had a fixed setting. Every other LED light in my house you can fix the hue by a switch and it’s locked at that color. This one it’s like roulette—you’ll get a new color each time you turn it on and it can’t be fixed. I’d send it back if it wasn’t already installed as I didn’t know that was the case until it was up. So if you just need a fan, this actually looks nice and is really powerful. If you also need a light, find something else. Instructions only detail about 1/2 of the steps but we’d installed fans before so we’re able to piece together what was needed.Love it!!!
